The third idea is for the song 'Hallelujah' by Jeff Buckley.
This music video I came up with is a bit metaphorical, so I'll try my best to explain what I mean.
Basically, the meaning I personally get from this song is all about love being not a state of happiness and joy, but a stressful and terrifying place, where you experience a lot of pain, but you can't escape it cause you feel affection. In other words, you make yourself suffer, but you feel satisfaction, because you are in love, which you cannot control.
So, the metaphor for the video is the strange fact that people are ready to go through suffering for love and for people they are attached to, and that strangely enough people who truly love each other are the ones to cause the worst sufferings for their beloved ones.
The idea of the music video is simple: a couple live in the big wooden house and they love each other. Throughout the video we see two completely different states of their relationships, in one of which the girl always physically hurts the artist, and in the other where she shows affection towards him. He sings throughout the clip while this is happening.
So, for example, they are standing in the living room. Beautiful soft light. She comes up to him and hugs him. He hugs her. In a second we hear strange noise and see the blood coming out of his mouth. She steps back and we see a knife in her hand. She smiles at him. He smiles back. Her face changes and now she looks a bit worried. She drops the knife, takes off her scarf and puts it on his wound. He kisses her on the cheek, leaving a blood stain.
They are at the kitchen table playing something like a 'Russian Roulette', but shooting not themselves, but each other. She points a gun at him and shoots him in the chest. The blood flows down his shirt. She passes a gun to him. He checks how many bullets there are left. Realising that the next shot wouldn't give a misfire he points the gun at himself and shoots straight at the temple. The blood is all around the kitchen. She takes a gun and looks inside to check how many bullets are left. She then points a gun at him again and fires twice.
The next shot they are in the other room, he is tighten up to the chair with the rope. She walks around him with the big knife. The lyrics on this moment are:
'She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah'
So she comes up to him, grabs him by the hair, pulling his head up, and cuts his throat. Then she trows a knife, runs round him and jumps on his knees. He looks at her and sings 'Hallelujah'.
Now they are in the bedroom. He is sitting on the bed. She comes up to him and sits on his knees. He grabs her waist and gently takes the hair off her face. She takes her black hosiery and puts around his neck. Then she pushes him so that he falls on his back and starts to choke him. His face turns blue when she stops. She throws away her hosiery and lies down next to him, putting her head on his shoulder.
In the next shot they are sitting on the coach. He is hugging her by the waist, watching TV. She is holding a lighter in one hand and his hand in the other hand. She burns his fingers on fire, expecting any reaction from him. He looks at her and smiles. She continues. When she is not looking, we see the emotion of pain on his face, but it disappears every time she looks back at him.
In the next shot she drags him in the bathroom. Warm blue light. Pink water. He looks at her. She kisses him. Then she grabs his neck and pulls him into the water. He tries to fight back, but not at full strength. We see his face in the water, eyes open. She looks at him with anger.
Her face changes. She looks worried and pulls him back. He breathes deeply, holding the bathroom's edge. She's cuddling him from the back. Gently, she forces him into the water. She sits next to him and strokes his hair, smiling. He smiles back at her and touches her lip with the wet hand. She grabs that hand with her hand and closes his eyes with another hand. Then she takes out a blade. She gently touches his veins and then cuts them with a quick sharp move. He bites his lip but make no sound. She puts the bleeding hand into the bath, the water turns red. She stands up and leaves the room. He sings the last lines of the song, bleeding in the bathroom with his eyes closed.

The music ends. He stays silent. In a moment there is some movement in the room. She comes back to the room and looks at him silently. Then she steps into the bath, some of the bloody water overflows and splits on the floor. She lies down on the top of him, on the chest. After a pause he hugs her on the waist.
