Ooooh, this is really tricky. I have a lot of favourite bands and it's really hard to choose only one.
I give my preference to Indie Rock and I know a lot of good bands, which produce some amazing compositions, like Arctic Monkeys, Kaleo, Radiohead, The Pixies, The Killers, Coldplay and American Authors, but if I HAD TO choose one I would chose The Lumineers.
The Lumineers - is an american Indi Rock band, founded in 2002.
They write nice lyrics that not only sound good with the music, but also make you think and re-consider some things about your life. Their songs are accompanied with beautiful instrumental parts and amazing music videos in pastel colours like soft yellow, purple and pink, which reflect the kind of music The Lumineers play - chilled and relaxed Indi Rock with soft guitar parts.
Their music is perfect if you're about to travel for a long time and you need something in your ears, which wouldn't very much drag away the attention from your own thoughts, but would help you to find that balance and relax.
